Le Corbusier compared the functioning of buildings to the machine. Why do not consider the cladding of the building as a (well supplied with blood) skin.
All the mamals use a system of blood vessels to keep appropriate temperatureof their bodies. Maybe we can metabolize our buildings in the way animals do it.
So...let’s imagine a building with a structure full of small pores-pipes at the outer surface, regulating temperature inside. Each hole will be a part of a coherent system of connected pipes.
By putting and densifying pipes on the proper side we can build a very effective system.
